The Board is the collegial governing body of the Company, ensuring that the Company's business is conducted in an orderly and efficient manner, considering transparent financial and business practices, effective management of assets and operations, and risk management associated with the Company's activities.
The Board in its activities is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania, the Law on Joint-Stock Companies of the Republic of Lithuania, other legal acts, the Articles of Association of the Company, and the Rules of Procedure of the Board of Directors of Vilniaus viešasis transportas (UAB).
Term of office of the Board
The Board members are appointed for a term of 4 (four) years by the authority of Vilnius City Municipality exercising the functions of the General Meeting of Shareholders. The Board shall include at least 3 independent members, at least 1 civil servant, and 1 person (expert, employee, etc.) appointed by the shareholder.
